Children and Youth Programs
At Stonegate CHC, we aspire to provide youth with a wide range of social recreational activities that will enable them to be effective peer leaders, and enhance their personal and community capacity. Our Child and Youth Programs help enhance confidence and provide new opportunities and experiences for youth participants.
Free after school activities for children and youth 6 to 17 years of age are offered at Stonegate CHC, as an opportunity to interact with other youth in a safe and secure environment. Youth Staff work in partnership with participants to develop activities that are of interest, such as a homework support program, recreational activities and programs targeting specific age groups, and youth workshops and education sessions.

Homework Buddies
A homework support program for children and youth from grades 1 to 8. Children are required to bring their homework to the program, and our Youth Staff will assist in any questions participants may have to complete assignments. Note: This is not a tutoring program.
Social Recreational Programs
Children and youth are able to take part in activities that are age specific, such as our Klever Kids or Tweens programming. Other activities are also offered throughout the year, enabling children and youth to develop new skills with art programs and cooking clubs.
Youth Workshops
Youth are encouraged to attend our workshops, which are geared to helping youth develop positive conflict resolution skills, support with bullying situations, and program training and certification.
