Good Food Box Holiday Drive
Stonegate CHC holds an annual fundraiser before the holidays to collect funds to purchase Good Food Boxes and fund other fresh produce based food programs at the Centre. The boxes are given to Stonegate residents living with food insecurity and hunger issues during the holiday season.
A donation of $25 buys one Good Food Box for a family in need. A $50 gift purchases boxes for two families. Four families benefit from a $100 donation, while a $250 donation gives 10 families fresh produce.

Donating to Stonegate CHC
Many of Stonegate CHC’s programs and services rely on donations from community members to succeed. Services such as the Community Food Program, Early Years Program, and Youth after-school programs depend on your kind donations. In particular, the weekly healthy school snack program implemented at local schools is completely funded through donations.
What your money can do
$5 buys four snacks a week for a Stonegate CHC summer camp participant
$30 covers the monthly cost of medication for a child with asthma
$70 covers the cost of language interpretation services for a client
$85 provides an Epipen for an individual with severe allergic reactions
$180 covers the cost of 15 children attending our 6 week Kids Can Cook Summer Camp
$250 provides weekly nutritious snacks to over 400 students at two local schools

Your donations go towards our programs and services.
Without the kindness of the community, these and other much needed programs for local families would not be possible. There are three easy ways to make a donation:

- Donate on-line via CanadaHelps by using our safe and convenient donations form
CanadaHelps is a non-profit organization with a mission to increase charitable giving. Less than 3% of your donation is subject to processing costs (ie credit card companies, banks) allowing CanadaHelps to provide Stonegate CHC with affordable access to online fundraising and educational tools.
Tax receipts will be issued for all donations received over $10.
